Installing R on a Mac:

Installing R:

Please make sure you install the latest version of R (R version 3.5.0).

• Go to http://cran.r-project.org/
• Click on Download R for (Mac) OS X
• Select the latest release R-3.5.0.pkg
• Open and run the executable file to install R
• Might be a good idea to also install or update XQuartz

Installing RStudio:

• Go to http://www.rstudio.com/
• Click on Download and then select the Rstudio Desktop option
• Download the installer for the Mac OS RStudio-XX - Mac OS X 10.6+ (64-bit)
• Open and run the executable file
